Souvenirs

Two dusty souvenirs

Remember through the years

Recalling all the time

The time was yours and mine

We sipped our summer wine

To love… life’s grand design

Souvenirs

The laughter hides the tears

And when it disappears

There’s nothing more it seems

But if I had a dream

That I could help you steal

Then you’d know how I feel

About two dusty souvenirs

Sweet dream

You’d better say goodnight

Before the lonely morning light

With no more time to dream

With no dreams left to steal

We’re just two dusty souvenirs
