However far or wide I think of her with pride

There's nowhere near as pretty as my Country Music City

She's the shining love forever in my heart

All I ever want to be is in Nashville Tennessee

With her friendly folks whose kindness tops the chart

So I'm coming home to stay and I'll never go away

I've flown around the world… I've known a lot of girls

I've kissed and made 'em cry by waving them goodbye

There's no one near as pretty as my Country Music City

She's the only love I cannot bear depart
