Mister Macho… you cry like a thundercloud up in the sky

Mister Macho… don't try to persuade her with your weak alibi

You've been cheating on your lover

Did you think that she was deaf as a post

She's heard you've been 'neath the covers

With someone else so now you're toast

She was true and always faithful

She never messed with other guys

Now she sees she's been rewarded with lies

That's no surprise…

She ignored your reputation

She trusted you to treat her kind

You must have thought that she was losing her mind

But now you find

It's not her mind she's taken leave of

It's you my friend… she's said goodbye

Mister Macho… there's no use denying

Mister Macho… she has left you crying

Mister Macho… you cry like she's poked her finger in your eye

Mister Macho… don't try to convince her of what you can't deny

You were thinking you could get away

With your slinking low-down two-time act

But you're sinking 'cause she's saying

You're all washed up and that's a fact

She was true and always faithful

She never messed with other guys

Now she sees she's been rewarded with lies

That's no surprise…

She ignored your reputation

She trusted you to treat her kind

You must have thought that she was losing her mind

But now you find

It's not her mind she's taken leave of

It's you my friend… she's said goodbye

Mister Macho… there's no use denying

Mister Macho… she has left you crying
